COUNTY TRIALS

HJBA County Squad trials for the 2024/25 season for both existing squad members and potential new members will be held on two dates at Hertfordshire Sports Village, University of Hertfordshire de Havilland Campus, Hatfield, AL10 9EU. Please note that the organisation of the trials this year has changed, with U11s being held on a different date to the other age groups, and each squad age group trial taking place across all three halls in separate time slots.

IMPORTANT: Please arrive 30 minutes before the start time to allow time for registration.

Wednesday 22 May

• Players born in 2015 or later: 1800 - 1930 hours (Under 11 squad)

Wednesday 26 June

• Players born in 2013 or 2014: 1800 - 1900 hours (Under 13 squad)
• Players born in 2011 or 2012: 1900 - 2000 hours (Under 15 squad)
• Players born in 2009 or 2010: 2000 - 2100 hours (Under 17 squad)
• Players born in 2007 or 2008: 2100 - 2200 hours (Under 19 squad)

If you are considering trialling for one of the squads, please discuss this first with your coach/club organiser. A form is available for download HERE which you should complete and return to the relevant squad manager by email (see below) least one week prior to the trial date.

Young Coach and Young Volunteer of the Year 2023-24

HJBA and HBA are looking for this year's Young Coach of the Year and Young Volunteer of the Year. Do you know someone who is U22 on April 30th 2024 and in either category is outstanding? For Young Coach, the BE categories recognised are Young Leader Award holder, SmashUp! Activator, UKCC Level 1 or Level 2 award holder.

For Young Volunteer, they could be helpers in any way in clubs, schools, sports facilities, college or Uni, at tournaments, with social media, etc.
